Frequently Asked Questions
What is 3D Anatomical Cut and why does it matter?
3D Anatomical Cut means the glove is shaped to match the natural curvature of your hand when gripping handlebars. This reduces material bunching, eliminates pressure points and significantly reduces hand fatigue on long rides.
Are Gore-Tex® motorcycle gloves worth it?
Yes — Gore-Tex® provides a guaranteed waterproof, windproof and breathable barrier that no coating or laminate can match. For year-round or wet-weather riding in Australia, it's the gold standard in hand protection.
How do I care for leather motorcycle gloves?
Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Apply a leather conditioner periodically to maintain suppleness. Avoid direct heat when drying. Store flat or hanging — not compressed. For Gore-Tex® gloves, avoid fabric softeners as they can reduce membrane breathability.
What is PrimaLoft® and how does it keep hands warm?
PrimaLoft® Gold is a premium synthetic insulation that traps heat while remaining lightweight and compressible. Unlike down, it retains warmth even when wet — making it ideal for cold and wet riding conditions.
What does CE certified mean for motorcycle gloves?
CE certification means the gloves have been independently tested and meet the European EN 13594 standard for protective gloves for motorcycle riders. This covers impact protection, abrasion resistance, seam strength and cut resistance. All MCP gloves carry CE certification.
